Innovative collaboration between
iSkies and
iBisque at New Mexico Skies brings the
excitement of remote robotic telescopes to Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
It is the first commercial venture of its kind in Australia.
Based in Sydney, Australia,
iSkies was founded [by Dr. Prabhjot Singh] in
February 2004 to provide cutting-edge astronomy tools to students
in Australia and the Asia-pacific region.
Roadmap: iSkies strongly believes that
Browser Astronomy is the way into the future for observational astronomy.
iSkies has the following activities in the pipeline:
- Make Browser Astronomy a part of the regular curriculum in schools and universities.
- Producing a research projects guide for Browser Astronomy.
- Partenering with the Sydney Observatory to provide Browser Astronomy on a regular basis.
Make bookings and View a recent image

Here's the opportunity:
- Students, who until now did not have access to telescopes for their projects,
can fully control a telescope from their classrooms or labs using a PC connected to the
Internet having a web browser.
- It is powerful
- no leaving the campus to get to a telescope or waking up late in the night!
Differentiate your organisation:
- Provide your students, researchers and members with the cutting-edge
Browser Astronomy.
- Not only will they love it, you will feel proud of it too!
Are your classrooms modern enough?
- If you take pride in having modern classrooms
and well equipped science labs then Browser Astronomy is a must have.
